This set of 'Bite Tubes' includes one each of the red and yellow Chewy Tubes and purple and green Grabbers. The instructions included with the set detail the means by which these four tools can be used in a hierarchy of increasing difficulty for development of jaw stability.

ARK's Grabbers are designed so that children can hold them by themselves. They provide soothing stimulation that satisfies the need to chew while also improving jaw strength. This Grabber is the most rigid ARK Grabber. It is recommended for chewers who like very hard items or have previously chewed through the Grabber XT-green.

This vanilla scented Grabber is constructed from the same material as the Grabber XT, making it tougher than the purple Grabber. The sweet scent is calming and relaxing and can also promote acceptance of the tool or provide sensory input for nil by mouth.

At approximately 5-6 months of age, babies start mouthing and chewing in order to strengthen their mouth muscles and exercise their lips, tongue, and jaw. ARK's MEGA Bite Saber® is very similar to the original and popular Bite Saber® necklace. What's the difference? The MEGA version is much bigger! Wider. Thicker. Longer.

The classic/original Bite Saber® (sold separately) measures about 4" long, .4" in diameter on the blade end, and .5" in diameter on the handle end. The MEGA version sold here measures about 5.8" long, .45" in diameter on the blade end, and .55" in diameter on the handle end. Our on-site tests indicate that the battery included with your Z-Vibe will last for a minimum of 24 hours of continued use (and usually longer). When it is time for a replacement, this is the battery you need. Note that while this battery is similar in size to a standard AAA battery, the two are not identical. Standard AAA batteries will not power the Z-Vibe, and will usually get stuck inside the device (rendering it useless).

The yellow Preefer tips are appropriate when a continuous rolling action is desired.

The Z-Vibe® (sold separately) is intended to be used as a speech / feeding therapy tool to help teach the concept of biting/chewing skills, to increase oral awareness, to practice oral motor exercises, etc. To that end, most tip attachments for the Z-Vibe® are designed to be fairly small so that therapists can easily get into the mouth. And the chewing tip attachments are designed to be fairly chewy for individuals who have limited jaw strength or oral motor skills. However, some people also use the Z-Vibe® as a calming/chewing tool for individuals with stronger chewing needs, and for that purpose they needed a larger and tougher tip attachment. So ARK's Brick Tip is the solution! It combines the cool-factor shape and durability of ARK's original Brick Stick chew necklace with the vibration of the Z-Vibe®. The Brick Tip is larger than the Probe or Bite-n-Chew Tip, while still being slim enough to reach the back molars.

Use ARK's Tongue Tip for the Z-Vibe® as a tongue exerciser for lateralization and elevation. Instruct the individual to place his/her tongue tip inside the hole, then gently guide the tongue up and down or left and right to establish the concept of elevation and lateralization, both of which are important oral motor skills for speech and feeding development. It can also be used as a tongue scraper for dental hygiene and oral awareness.
