Skills

I joined EG Training as a Newly Qualified Practitioner. I have a mixed caseload, predominantly working with paediatrics. I am currently training in TalkTools and to become a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT). My interests are Special Education Needs, Speech Sound Disorders, Stammering and Neurological Conditions.
Background
Originally I trained as a Sound Engineer in 2015 to work in music and live sound, but after completing my degree, I found that this wasn’t my calling. After taking a few years out, I retrained and graduated with a second degree in Speech and Language Therapy in 2023. I have been a GirlGuiding Leader for over 10 years, working with children aged 4 years and above.
Personal
Family are important to me, and I spend a lot of time being the number one aunt to my nephews. I have two dogs, which keep me busy outside of work, as well as being a dancer once a week. When I do have time to relax, you will find me either doing amateur photography or watching Harry Potter or Disney Movies whilst cross stitching. Sound Engineering has become a hobby, and at occasional times of the year I volunteer as a Sound Engineer at my local church, local events and amateur theatre productions.
Support
I work with an amazing group of Therapists and Therapy Assistants, which means I have access to a range of supervision and support alongside my regular supervision sessions with my line manager. I attend team meetings and CPD sessions regularly with colleagues.
