We provide a range of training related to Speech and Language Therapy and run a number of standard courses throughout the year.
Makaton
We provide Makaton accredited training at levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. We also provide shorter Taster sessions to give an introduction to Makaton signing.
Swallowing Awareness L2
This course (previously known as Assistant Dysphagia Practitioner Training – ADPT) is suitable for carers who assist individuals with swallowing difficulties. This course will provide the information required to support the knowledge element of the Eating, Drinking and Swallowing Competency Framework (EDSCF) at level 2 dysphagia practitioner.
