Skills

Yael works with children and adults with a range of speech, language and communication needs. Yael is experienced in working with children with Autism and uses a range of therapeutic interventions for example, TalkTools, Lego based therapy, and emotional regulation. Yael is trained in using various approaches including Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), Makaton and Feuerstein techniques. Yael has excellent interpersonal skills and can easily build a good rapport with people. She is organised and loves learning and developing her skills.

Background

Yael was born and raised in London and graduated from City University in 2015. Yael volunteered at residential week long camps for children with Autism and complex needs and taught Key Stage 1 at Sunday School.

Personal

Yael lives in Manchester with her husband and 3 children. She is on the board of directors for a non-profit organisation that works with youth and young leaders and is a tutor for religious studies. Yael enjoys spending time with family, playing piano and playing team sports.

Support

Yael enjoys being a team member and the problem solving, feeding back and developing joint goals that this brings. She is part of the Speech and Language Therapy team at Eg(Training)Ltd and accesses the experience of the team for supervision and support to enable her to work within RCSLT. This ensures that our clients are supported by a team and can expect an excellent standard of service at all times.
